As part of the Pennsylvania No-Till Alliance’s mission to promote the successful application of no-till through shared ideas, experiences, education and new technology, the Alliance is relaunching its Farmer to Farmer initiative.
Made possible by the support of private sponsorships and public grant dollars, the members of the Pennsylvania No-Till Alliance want to support farmers where they know best, on the farm. Through this initiative, the Alliance hopes to form closer relationships with producers looking to better their skills with no-tilling, cover cropping, and promoting soil health.
Interested participants should fill out the contact form listed below and should include their geographic location and specifics about their current operation.
As part of this program, the Alliance will contact every Extension office, conservation district, RC&D council and ag education program in the state as well as farm equipment dealers doing business with Alliance members to offer the assistance of our Board members as panelists/presenters at fall and winter meetings.
Board members are also available as a resource for first-time and experienced no-till farmers who have questions or need advice about no-till farming practices, equipment set-up, and cover crop usage. The Alliance participates in major no-till meetings throughout the year including the National No-Tillage Conference, the Professional Crop Producers Conference and Ag Progress Days.
For questions or requests for meeting presentations, please provide your contact information here or call the Pennsylvania No-Till Alliance at (717) 635-2320.
